November 8 – A short day, but enjoyable. Meeting Mom around eight-thirty, I soon learned that eleven hours of sleep hadn’t been enough. I completely knocked out on her bed while she made more friends in the kitchen.
When I finally woke up at one-thirty after some vivid dreams, we headed down to Little Italy for a mid-afternoon lunch at Buona Notte. A nice place. We shared stuffed mushrooms, and each of our dishes was very nice. Cheesecake would have been nice, but I am going to save that for Katz’s Deli. Mother also enjoyed the shops of Chinatown.
