November 10 – Another round of thrift store shopping today yielded some more great deals. It's great to know there are so many such stores clustered together on 23rd Street.

Lunch was at one of my favorite Thai places, Yum Yum on 9th Avenue. Our time together is becoming such a blur I can hardly remember details! We ended our Saturday at Katz's Deli, in honor of Father. The creamy cheesecake was the reason we went there, but we also had a light supper of matzo ball soup, pastrami on rye and potato knish.

Mother brought back some of the great pickles for us to munch on the next day at the hostel, as well as a salami for a friend back home.
